Lets say you're sitting at the bar playing VP with a progressive royal jackpot. Are the machines at the bar only pumping up the royal jackpot, or is it connected to ALL of the progressive machines on the floor?

And at what coin in rate does the progressive get bigger?

Probably just the machines at the bar.

It depends on the meter move, different progressives have different meter move. You'll have test it yourself when no one else is playing(or watch someone). Make sure you play more than 1 hand because it can go up a different amount every other time. It may take several hands before it moves at all.

At many casinos, it's just at the bar. But it could be set for the entire casino (e.g. The Cosmopolitan).
