I just recently moved to Hong Kong and I was in Macau earlier in the week. Ive always enjoyed craps and I had a bit of fun with the automated sic bo that they have in the casinos there. Some of the machines had a doubling bonus on every roll where random spaces on the table would lit up with a double payout. I checked the Sic Bo odds on WoO and was curious how the doubling variant changed the edge, if at all.

As I could tell, about a third or half (I didn't bother to count) of the board was randomly lit up, excluding the Hi/Low, and would only light after betting ended. For the time I was there, I seemed to be doing fairly well on an even bet across the 8-13 spots (one unit on each number). How bad is this kind of bet really and does the bonus make it any better than the standard Hi/Low bet?
