My buddy and I went to a casino last week. He won a small jackpot of 1250 euro, about 1600 dollar. This is when I was getting interested in jackpots. I know the jackpot numbers in my local casino and often see when it's at its 'max'. I know that a slot machine jackpot doesn't really have a maximum but when they reach a certain number it will give the jackpot more often.

I always like to play, a slot machine called wheel of fortune or named something like that. The minor jackpot is almost always around 50 euro, but now I saw it standing at 116 euro. This is when I bet max (2 euro) and within 5 spins I had the minor jackpot. This is when I thought about it and thought if I bet max, when the jackpot numbers are higher then normal, do I have more chance on a jackpot?

I know another jackpot which stands at 1750 euro, which is pretty much a max. I always bet 90 cents there and the other casino visitors also won't bet much more, but I'm thinking about going there and do a max bet of 4.50 euro. Do you think it will give me the jackpot faster, or at least have a bigger chance for it?

It all depends on the machine. Sometimes the machine requires max to even be eligible to win and sometimes they don't. Usually the former has all bets bet proportional meanimg a 300 credit bet has the same effect as 10 30 credit bets. From my observance, there are very few machines designed any more to be easily exploitable. Gamble if you want, but they're normally a giant waste of time and money.
I am a robot.

Thanks for the response. I know the machine does not require the max bet, because I know someone won it with 1.50 euro bet.
