Diamond Status with only 8600 Tiers?

Is it possible to gain Diamond status without 15k tier credits? My online account says I have Diamond Status, but I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not.

At this point in the year, there are two possibilities:
You've earned 3000 points in one day earlier in January, thereby earning diamond-in-a-day status for 2013. Or, last year's diamond status is showing - it's good through March.

I only got up to platinum last year. When do they apply the "diamond-in-a-day" status?? I haven't been to the casino since 1/13 lol

In that case rdw4potus's second option is definitely the case - your tier from last year is good until March 31st even though your tier credits were reset on 01/01/2013. My account still shows Platinum with 0 Tier Credits.

If you only had one day of play this year and are showing 8600 Tiers, rdw is 100% correct. You earned 3600, enough for DIAD and then received the 5000 bonus under the new system for a total of 8600.

I thought they were upping DIAD to 5000 this year. Maybe they didn't tho.
