Yeah, yeah I know this is Wizard of VEGAS dot com.
But I think there are members enduring winter here
in the mid-west / east part of the country.
from:
Another Horseshoe Cleveland Promo for New Members
- During the month of January, new Total Rewards members will receive
one free hotel stay at a Caesars Entertainment Property in Las Vegas upon
opening a Total Rewards card.
- But that’s not all.
- New members will be reimbursed slot losses up to $100 on first day of
- gaming during January as well. Losses will be reimbursed on the form
of Free Slot Play.
Anyhows, not great but beats a poke in the eye with
a sharp stick.
I think it's a decent loss rebate, but I doubt that most
readers of this forum are not already TR members.

Saw the same thing at Harrah's AC this weekend. Seems like a nice promo. But, really, how many gamblers are out there who aren't already TR members?

Did they say anything about waiving the ridiculous $25 valet parking fee for below diamond status?

So perhaps the promo should be re-named Give Us Your Sons and Daughters Promptly.
The casino wants "fresh meat" ... the only place to get it is to have their current players do the recruiting amidst friends and relatives.

I also believe a saw a billboard for $100 slot reimbursement at Horseshoe Hammond when I visited Chicago around Christmas as well. But like many on this forum, I am already a TR member. :( And when I signed up, I don't remember getting jack. :( I also was playing in a state where a card was REQUIRED. Missouri had a $500 loss limit per 2 hours prior to 2009.

I think they get some pretty good mileage out of those "slot loss rebate" signs and the footnotes and fine print that render everything a bit less significant. People see the sign and think good things about the casino. ... so off they go.

I don't know if this was the case last time you were there, but it gets waived if you earn x (can't remember) number of points in one day. I don't remember how many points that was, exactly, but it was really low. I think the parking fee is more to dissuade people with no intention of going to the casino than anything else.

I think it is 25 or 30 points to get up to
24 hours of parking. Not too hard
to get that many points.

To clarify, this is for the Self Parking garage which
is located diagonally from the Southeast side of the
casino.

It was only 15 Tier when it first opened, iirc.

I stand corrected. I saw that on their website after
I posted. Oooops.
