If you took all the guacamole consumed by Americans that day and spread it across a football field, how deep would it be? (No Internet Searching)

I guess we are including the total area of the regulation field IN-BOUNDS?

I'll go with one of the low numbers 4.9 feet.

I don't have any idea how other Americans behave. If you took the data for those living at my house and extrapolated it over the total number of houses in America, the sum would be 0.000... feet. :-)

A football field is 360 x 160. That's 57,600 square feet. Given that 170 million viewers likely watch the Superbowl and say 40% of them consume a 4 ounce serving of guacamole, that's 17,000,000 pounds of guacamole. A cubic foot of water weighs about 62 pounds, so that's about 274,200 cubic feet, so about 4.8 feet of depth.

But I don't know if my assumptions are correct.

Hmm, good question. Assume that the guac in question will be served in the USA, regardless of the legal status of the server or servee.

You mean how deep would Jerry Logan be if
he was buried in it, thats how the question
should be asked.
