Portland was once a great, warm, wonderful city.

Not any more.

Homelessness and fentanyl abuse runs rampant; little or no accountability for crimes.

Target is leaving; the icing on the cake: “We recently had an individual in one of our stores that was peeling off his face with pliers in the bathroom.”

I grew up in Washington State

We traveled to Portland often when I was a kid, usually for various church things. We stayed in absolutely beautiful hosted homes.

My grandparents, aunt's, uncle's, cousin's etc are from Longview right across the river from Portland.

I went there often with my grandfather fishing. Beaver falls(? )(he actually died on the Columbia River fishing on his small boat)

I went car Cruzing in Portland a teenager.

I have Very fond memories of Portland, it was an absolutely beautiful place. In my 20's I considered buying some property there.

The last few times I have visited there I was highly disappointed.

Oddly enough, when I was younger the Tacoma area was a complete S@!+ hole. I absolutely hated that place. It was like that for years....

I recently spend a bunch of time in the Tacoma area iexploring much territory. I still haven't seen the S@!+ area's I remember or what stats suggest(So confused) Perhaps I'm just missing all the crime?
