I spent about two minutes solving this one.

After SNORE I saw four possibilities: SCORE, SHORE, SPORE, and SWORE. Fortunately, the second proved to be correct.

I have to object to the purple FIRST NAMES OF YANKEE LEGENDS category: in fact, only MICKEY Mantle fits the category. The other three were all nicknames: George Herman "BABE" Ruth, Heinrich Ludwig (anglicized to Henry Louis) "LOU" Gehrig Jr., and Lorenzo Pietro (anglicized to Lawrence Peter) "YOGI" Berra.
