I spent about one minute solving this one.

Yesterday I wrote, "Now I'll have to find a new "Plan B" word for when STARE misses completely." Well, it didn't take long for the new Plan B word, POUND, to make an appearance.

Doh! I just checked and found that POUND is a past answer! Back to the Plan B drawing board.

My streak is at 62.

I have heard the word "cant" (as opposed to "can't") before, but never as a synonym for "lean."

Cant can be a synonym for "sing," I think (e.g. by a "cantor"), and if you can "decant" liquor, then presumably you can "cant" it as well.

At the time, I had stole in my list of possible solutions, but I always hesitate to play verbs that aren't in the present tense. However, now that I think about it, maybe they were going for the type of fur garment.

I did the exact same thing! I thought it was a no-brainer, and was surprised that it wasn't correct.

I have never before heard 'peacock' used as a verb. And colors on the Brazilian flag? That category was a reach.
