Thread Rating:
This time, the rules will be somewhat based on The Squid Game. Especially in the manner that I can make up rules as I go and players can be eliminated.
However, I will abide by these rules:
1. A total of at least $200 in prize money will be awarded somehow to the top players.
2. Scores will be in points, as opposed to money.
3. There will be ten competitive rounds.
Unlike last time, there will be no banking of money or points. I am not interested in making 40 or so micropayments. The way I see it now, only the top three players will get anything. I may give some chances to individually gamble with points late in the game, so that everybody who hasn't been eliminated will have a chance.
That said, for now, please indicate if you wish to play. This is a complete free roll so I can't think of any reason to not play.
I'm not getting shot on the red light am I?

If we get eliminated, are we eliminated from the forum? 😳
Hell, it’s a small risk. I’m in. 🤪
Anyway, I will say upfront that this time, I am playing with no strategy other than to always do the most cooperative thing possible. I've had my share of any winnings donated on my behalf for every game that I have won---but I was playing to maximize winnings the first game like this just for fun.
WizCoin=Bitcoin.
So at that time, RS deemed an acceptable rate of exchange to be $1,000 per Bitcoin.
This 3.5 years later, Bitcoin is about $61,000
I wonder if Wizard still has any WizCoin in circulation?
Quote: RSI’m in.
...
Instead of $1 or $2 can I take payments of 0.001 or 0.002 WZC (WizCoin)?

An example round, in the past, might have been to divide $20 to all players who vote "steal," with the exception if everyone votes steal nobody gets anything and if everyone votes share, they equally split the $20. The decisions are meant to put you to a test of doing what is best for the group or best for yourself.
I will probably do one round every four days. So, I do ask that players that sign up do keep up with it.

This forum used to be about NON-Betting systems and real-life gambling experience type of community, even if you were not an AP... math, logic, and realism mattered. It's become something totally different in the last year or so. We Had many many real-life members who knew each other in person, people who came to meet up's and loved to participate. It's a totally different vibe now, and It won't be the same ever again, and those people won't participate here anymore unless there are some changes made on the forum. Let see how successful the next WOV meet-up is etc. If any known long-time members are looking for a new exciting home, feel free to PM me.
Sorry Mike, nothing personal.
Good luck to all.

I’ll play, despite Axel’s warning. I do remember (I think?) that there were some actual ‘hard feelings’ generated. I am certain that lying was allowed, even encouraged. I do like taking Mike’s money. I still have a $2 bill from him from some bet/contest which I don’t remember.
It's not a warning, I was using my phone to dictate and it didn't come out as I wanted. So to clarify: In the past, I encouraged and goaded many people to play, people who weren't even all that interested. What I meant to say is that won't be encouraging anyone to play.Quote: SOOPOOQuote: AxelWolfI'm not playing and I will suggest other's not play.Quote: OnceDearIf Mdawg plays, I hope I get to be in his team. $;o)Quote: WizardHere are the confirmed players thus far:

Ahh, the US $2 note.... traditional currency for gambling and bribery.
At least they haven't turned them pink yet.
What's NOT to LOVE about that ?Quote: SOOPOOI do like taking Mike’s money.

So, post something interesting that is gambling related, a trip report, some pix, etc.
AxelWolf probably scanned the page saw something about MDawg and decided to post something that to anyone who actually read the thread, is irrelevant and off topic, not to mention, in my opinion, untrue. What’s AxelWolf trying to do anyway, promote some other site via PM?
In any case - MDawg is in! and as DarkOz said,
and as OnceDear alluded, MDawg will do whatever it takes to win, too.

I seem to remember that we never actually received payments from the Coop Game II. We agreed to let Wizard take the prize pool and work with Axel to increase the prize pool via whatever seemed to be a good opportunity. It was a free roll, so its hard to complain about not getting our payouts, but . . . let the contestants beware.

I received my part.
If you or anyone else didn't get your payments it had nothing to do with me. Your post seems to suggest I had something to do with something bad happening, when it was quite the opposite of that. I don't 100% recall all the details, but I'll take a shot at giving you the gist of what happened. Someone who recalls more or researches the details can help fill in the exact details.Quote: gordonm888I will play.

Let's go back: At some point I believe someone suggested we gamble the winning on some long shot. I wasn't interested in some negative EV situation. I think I probably suggested putting it into the +EV 1/2 parlay cards. I don't know exactly how it went down but Romes was put in charge, he somehow missed one of the best 1/2 parlay weeks ever. I don't know what happen with the betting after that since I took the cash. I think it was a total loss of the funds.
Fast forward to the next round. I said I would be willing to invest the winnings into a +EV situation where I was 99% confident we would come out ahead. I used my own money to front the play and never asked for Mike or anyone to put up any money. I did win and I added profits to the bankroll. I got the extra money to those responsible for the payments.

I certainly did not intend to suggest that you. Axelwolf, did anything improper or were responsible in any way for blowing the winnings of the last Co-Op game.
I'm just saying that I never received any payout and my memory was hazy but I had never heard from Mike as to what happened to our payout. And I specifically said it was not a big deal because it was a free roll. I just think it would be nice if Mike (or other involved party) would communicate with us as to what happened to the several hundreds of dollars of Co-op Game II payouts that were originally intended for the participants.

I could be wrong but I thought that it went to pay the bill of the WoV spring fling meetup at Triple 7 at Main Street Station. I’m too lazy to look back and find out but that’s my memory.
P.S my memory sucks
