What is your favorite quote?
Personally I like the quote engraved on a block of wood given to John F Kennedy by admiral Richter, which reflects the Breton's Fishermans Prayer.
"Oh Lord have mercy, thy sea so large and my boat so small"
I believe the plaque just says Thy sea so large, my boat so small.

"...And that's the bottom line, cuz Stone Cold said so!"
"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Road not Taken, by Robert Frost"
I felt proud of myself for doing it quite well, until I sat down in my chair, pulled the poem out from a folder, and realized I skipped over almost the entire thing. But hey, none of the kids in the class knew I f***ed up!
For gambling related:
"Please just let me break even. I could really use the money"

I use, 'One time,' for things other than gambling, too.

“I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.”
“Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.”
From a forum poster on a Detroit Lions forum.
"When I die I want the Detroit Lions to be my pallbearer's so they can let me down one last time." "I hope they sing the song Another One Bites the Dust for me."
The second part of the quote references the Detroit Lions use of that song in 1980 when they won the 1st four games of the season after going 2-14 the year before, they still failed to go to the playoffs that year.
Quote: RSEvil implies action. Without action, it would not be evil.
It's only evil to the good people. Evil people think what they do is good.

Yes. But the Profoundly Evil know they do evil.
I think that only sentient intentions are "good" or "bad" in terms of grace or evil respectively. Not their means of execution. Can we praise or blame mathematical designs or physical forces for our sentient behaviors? We all employ the same basic ways of thinking and moving.Quote: RSEvil implies action. Without action, it would not be evil.
Of course, the matter of people, guns, or bullets, helping or hurting us is a bit more complicated by entanglement.
But, suppose then that also "good" necessarily entails action. How does the individual rise above the same sort of eternal stalemate of archetypal "good versus evil" (as when no one does anything about it)?
