Quote: BrushbuckJust had a question on a multi card 16 like a 4,5,7 or a 10,4,2 for example, I heard you should stay on a multi card 16 against a dealers 10, but what if it is a multi card 16 against a dealers 7,8 or 9 or and ace? Should you stay on a multi card 16 in those situations? Thanks
do you find that - if you have ever tried to stay or do what you are asking - that the dealer would have busted? and how often do you regret not staying on that 16?

If I have it right, you stand 16 against a dealer 10 on a count of 0 or greater. So even a two-card 16 stands against that 10 on a zero count. Additional low cards that create a multi-card 16 improve the count, even marginally.
Someone who is more knowledgeable about counting can chime in.

I know in single deck, the usual count doesn't do that hand justice at all, because the 6 acts as a high card, though it's counted as a low card. It's better to compare the amount of 5s and 6s remaining. If there are more 5s remaining than 6s, hit 16 v 10. If there are more 6s remaining than 5s, stand 16 v. 10. And ignore the "count" altogether. It doesn't work like that as the amount of decks increase, but a 6 is still a "KEY CARD", and the only Key Card.
