But the aliens play craps at the speed of light.Quote: AxelWolf
Actually, I think there's a much much better chance we are being visited by aliens than someone actually seen 18 yo's in a row.
Not the one that rolled 18 Yo's in a row.Quote: 1MatterToMotionBut the aliens play craps at the speed of light.
I don't really think there are aliens or intelligent life out there. But if there is/was....
- They may not have the power to travel space easily, just like we can't.
- They may have already killed each other off, sorta like what I expect to happen to Earth sometime down the road.
Of course, it'd be interesting if aliens or whatever did exist.....but that'd also be scary as hell.
Quote: RogerKintThere may not even be an outer space or other planets, at least as we know it. Religious folks got nothing on the faith of the NASA fans/sci-fifans. A budget of $50,000,000/day can fool a lot of people. At least churches don't threaten me with jail time if I don't pay my tithe.
Are you saying you think the solar system is a big budget government/NASA conspiracy?
Not sure if sarcastic or?
What do you mean? I had a friend who believed there were no other planets and they were actually all stars. That's crazy in my opinion, just because there is no theory or evidence. Yet I believe the universe is a simulation, based on theories, not mental illness.Quote: RogerKintThere may not even be an outer space or other planets, at least as we know it. Maybe they found us as a species, and even as a forum, analysed us, and said [translated]No intelligent life here, let's move along and look somewhere else.[/translate]Quote: WizardQuote: renoOut of trillions of planets, the probability that Earth is the only one with intelligent life is extraordinarily low.
Why is it that none of them seem to have found us?
