Reference Vince and respect, which you ask for without considering any prior events: a very smart person on this forum said, long before Vince joined, "You start with respect; from there, you earn disrespect." Vince has dug the particular hole he's in himself, and to the point of no return. There is no personal animus, but he is gone by his own volition, not by ours. There are rules and moderators here, and by any objective standard, he has violated them not once but many times, knowingly and with malice. He was welcomed; he chose to become unwelcome.
I hope you and he are happy and blessed together, but it's time for both of you to move on.

If I read his various killed incarnations correctly, he still intends to do that as of the other day. Who knows.

I'm sorry that many of you have developed a hate for Vince and I'm very sorry you feel that way about him.
.
Are you his groupie? Are you the one that screams when
he sings at weddings and high school reunions? Do you
sell his autographs on Ebay?

Oh boy, I just may have to show up incognito. Could be fun. ;)

It's downtown, right? I suggest dressing as your namesake and setting up as a street performer.
Also in response to our Vegas vacation, it is still scheduled. Vince had mentioned dropping in to the establishment in support of the forum victim.
Also to the individual who had mentioned Vince buying me things. For the record, I bought and paid for those items myself under the guidance of Vince.
Also to the individual who welcomes us to stay away from this forum as a favor to you. I'm happy and can not thank you enough for rejecting his membership. Vince received quite a few phone calls from other individuals and has made new friends along the way.
Also I'm sorry I am not a forum person and do not understand some of the posts and I do not think I can last very much longer to keep up to all this stuff.
Also I can not say much in reply to the baccarat playing.
Also to the individual who had mentioned about the alimony. (Please get a life, will ya)

Quote: SueOhalloranif you are referring to some contest at McDonalds, yes I had posted a comment to the victim. As a registered nurse's assistant, I do not recommend this dangerous stunt as I do recall the contestant having to eat 100 nuggets.
No doubt, considering you (oops, Vince) will have to
pay out $1000 when Mission eats the 100 nuggets.
You (oops,Vince) does have the money, right?
Quote: SueOhalloranAlso in response to our Vegas vacation, it is still scheduled. Vince had mentioned dropping in to the establishment in support of the forum victim.
Oh, that should be lovely. Will he sing for everyone? :)
Really?Quote: SueOhalloranIn reply to the individual talking about a $1000.00 payout. I don't know about this but I can guarantee you will lose your money if you bet Vince.
Is that why he lied when he said he would send $1,000 to the Wizard to hold?
Quote: SueOhalloranhe didn't bet no $1000.00 with anyone here.
Wrong! You (or your boyfriend/husband) said that $1,000 would be paid to 10 forum members if 100 McNuggets are eaten. Do you not talk to your boyfriend/husband?
This is getting stupid. I already told you what the deal was. Do you not read?Quote: SueOhalloranVince does not need your money. why would he bet?
Anyway, just ask your boyfriend/husband for all the details.
Quote: SueOhalloranI don't think Vince will lose any sleep if he losses a $1000.00 bet.
Sure...
Quote: SueOhalloranI will mention this to him when he gets home. but if in fact he made a deal, he will come through regardless of the outcome.
Sure he will.

It would be really tough to lose money to Vince when the bet was 0 for $100
Quote: SueOhalloranI will mention this to him when he gets home. Just show up at the McDonalds
When is his shift over at McDonalds, you can ask
him then..
Hannibal

Quote: SueOhalloranIf he had offered money to you then yes he will pay it to you. $100.00 is not very much. I don't even care if I lose $100.00
He promised to pay $100 to ten people. $100 x 10 = $1,000

Actually, that scene creeped me out so much I remember it 20 years later...you're quoting Jame Gump (not sure of the spelling), not Hannibal Lecter. Still pertinent and a good laugh.

Although I do it incorrectly I like to leave some reference to source.
I hear ya.
The Movie was "Hannibal" wasn't it? Wasn't the character Buffalo Bill?

Movie was Silence of the Lambs. Buffalo Bill was played by the same actor who played Captain Stottelmeyer in Monk.

No, Buffalo Bill was a guy Hannibal had already treated and eaten; he was a false lead Hannibal gave to Claire's boss, and they went on a wild goose chase after him, leaving her to accidently encounter the real killer. The film is "Silence of the Lambs". If there's ANYBODY on this forum who hasn't seen it, it's a masterwork, and will blow your mind even today.

gtfo, everyone cares if they lose $100, especially when it is to 10 people.

When the movie first came out I didn't want to see it because, well why would anyone want to see a movie about lambs. I felt like a complete dult when I finally saw it about 5 years ago. I am a huge horror movie fan so I was sad that I missed out on this movie for so many years. It is still one of my favorite movies.

What's wrong with working at McD's, min wage
in Canada is $10 an hour. Not as much as Microsoft,
but you take what you can get.

Yeah but that's 10 bucks and free medical!
I wonder if in Canada they use real meat?
Those nuggets here show up at the store in liquid form and are squirted out like a cake decorator.

It's Canada, everything is odd up there. Horsemeat,
maybe.

Growing up, we had a milk machine in the pantry for more than 10 years (late 60's thru the 70's). Bagged milk in 2.5 gallon sizes set in cardboard boxes were delivered twice a week, usually 2 at a time. There was room for 3 boxes in the milk machine; the lower left corner was inset, with a huge weighted lever set above the cutout. A long rubber tube (8-10") was inset into the bag and stuck out from the box once opened, then fed through the channel behind the lever and cut off at the correct level below the pinch point. To pour, you simply held up the bulb weight on the lever and the milk came out.
And yes, I am half Canadian.

Victim!?
There is not going to be a single victim at this event, but rather, there will be 100 victims, all little pieces of compressed chicken fat, bone and minimum white meat.
I am going to go in there, double-fisted, I will eat 100 of these Chicken Nuggets without even breaking a sweat. I will not waver, I will not tire, I will not back down, I will succeed.
The impending destruction of these Chicken Nuggets is very close to a surety. It is also a surety that I will wait until ten minutes have passed after consuming same, and then I will go into that bathroom at the McDonald's (because I'm not going to besmirch my hotel room) and I will puke until I am blue in the face.
Then, I will claim my C-Note from the Wizard, march over to Main Street Station, and we're going to have some drinks. Tell Vince to come, maybe there will be Karaoke. If so, he and I can do, "Man in the Box," by Alice in Chains, he can take the high parts in the chorus. It'll be a great time.
But, there is not, nor will there be, a victim.

Slow down, champ, you have 7 more weeks of
training left. Don't let the taunts of the people
who bet against you wear down your resolve.
