Turbo Tax also finally allowed this with multiple same casino w2gQuote: CommishAs a former tax preparer I have done this many times. The IRS has a copy of the W2G and is looking for your total to match theirs.
So long as they all have the same Payer's Federal Identification Number, just add them together and enter them as one item.
and
"Yes, you can combine them into one, using just one date and transaction number of your choice. The individual forms are not transmitted to the IRS, only the dollar total. Entering them individually is only done to make it easier for you to see weather you got all the income and withholding in you return"

I would make a spreadsheet for each casino and save a copy
you do not send IRS any w2g copies either. that was such a wasted effort
(I think you only get your copy from the casino, maybe a state one, not one for the irs, they do not want them from you)

What most people don't realize is that you can go to the local IRS office and they will print out for you all W2's reported to them. That way you can make sure your filing matches what they have. One year when I had hundreds of W2G's so I went to the IRS office and got a printout of what was reported, There were quite a few W2G's that I had in my possession that they did not have.

The IRS tool below is only available in the following year and will fail to produce any report if you have as many W2G forms as I have. It will be available before you need to file.
Quote: IRSHow to Get a Wage and Income Transcript or Copy of Form W-2
You can use our Get Transcript tool to request your wage and income transcript. It shows the data reported to us on information returns such as Forms W-2, Form 1099 series, Form 1098 series, and Form 5498 series; however, state or local information isn't included with the Form W-2 information. These transcripts are available for the past ten tax years, but information for the current processing tax year may not be complete until the earnings are reported. See Get Transcript FAQs and Can I get a transcript or copy of Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, from the IRS? for more information. You can also use Form 4506-T, Request for Transcript of Tax Return to request a wage and income transcript.
If you request a long form in a casino, you will only get one W2-G form for all jackpots hit that day until the form fills up or you request to close it. The MGM online casinos aggregate all jackpots in a single day into one line item on their tax statement. The IRS just cares about the totals.
