I have to say that Casinos seem to want to keep this kind of information off of their websites, so i sympathize with this question. BlackJack has many variations and there is value to *knowing* before *going* which can be frustrating.

Casino websites are not known for providing much info to make an educated decision about which casino to patronize.
Oh, sure, if you want to know which as the best restaurants or entertainment for those times away from the pit, the info is there, but nuances such as the number of decks or other rules? Fuggedaboudit!

You should be able to eye it. If it's coming out of a shoe it's pretty easy to tell the difference between 2-4 deck and 6-8 deck and if it's coming out of an auto-shuffler you're already screwed so who cares.

The only sites I know of that used to list this information are all out of date. I don't know if the difference between six decks and eight decks would mean much. Frequency of cocktail service might be a more relevant consideration. Most casinos have websites that are full of pablum and pretty pictures rather than more useful information.

One deck or two decks: Easy. Just eyeball it.
Six or eight decks: Harder to tell, but also possible to eyeball. I usually look for whether the dealer really has to stretch out his or her hand while picking up the cards for a shuffle check. A eight deck pack is rather hard to pick up, a six deck pack is routine.
Otherwise, I just ask.
