A friend and I came up with a new table game concept that we think would be successful if given a proper trial in a casino. Is there any way for us to make something happen in this regard?

Try researching Patent 7086943 which is for a variation on blackjack called "Casino Surrender".

"Casino Surrender" is basically a rule variant where a player can surrender his two tens against a dealer Ace or ten and win half of his bet. He is forcing the casino to surrender. Normal surrender you give up half your bet to not have to play the hand.

Naturally the expected value is higher if you don't exercise this rule, but most casino games are designed to make money for the casino and not the player.

The reason you should read the patent is you can get an idea of what goes into preparing a patent to protect yourself from illegal pilfering of your game. The patent for casino surrender includes all variants and protection from online gaming stealing the idea. As you may know, 3 card poker is widely stolen for online gaming.

Patent protection is a big part of the process.

Thanks for the responses. So, I suppose I shouldn't waste my time. Disappointing.
