I have mastered the Wizard's practice site for Blackjack. I can now play thousands of hands and never make a mistake! This has been a valuable tool in helping me to be the best that I can be at the tables. I cannot thank you enough for making this available.

What I am wondering is if there might be a similar practice site or program that would let you practice using index numbers and also correct you when you made a wrong choice? This would go a long way to making me the complete player I strive to be.

I never hesitate at a decision now that I know what I am supposed to do. I don't play hunches. I just execute perfect basic strategy. The only time I hesitate to make a move is when I am in the casino and feel I am being watched. Then I might ask the dealer or Pit something like "should I really double that soft 18 against a 4 ?", knowing full well what I am supposed to do.

The area where I need to improve is remembering the Indexes for each situation. If I can become as proficient at making index based decisions as I am at Basic Strategy I would be very comfortable in about any situation. BTW, I play only in PA casinos 6d, S17, DAS any 2, LS and sometimes RSA. Pen 1 1/2 ave.

I am not unwilling to pay for software if available. Although I would like to talk with someone who has used it before I buy.

Again, kudos for the Forum.

Only a minor thing left- find the right game: low penetration, positive count, no other players, casino, which does not care about counters and does not ban players.

Thanks KS, I followed your advice. It looks as if everything you could possibly want to know is there or has a link to find it.

It is a little overwhelming for me, but I will stay with it until I am comfortable. Any suggestions as to where to start.
