Why does Mother Superior have that rooster on a leash ?
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

A more pressing question would be what is the leash on which the rooster finds itself, tied to? :)

It's not just Paris. When my wife and I were in Rome, we saw an individual walking around nude from the waist down right outside the Vatican. It took me several uncomfortable looks to determine that this person was a woman.

And to top it all (maybe), with both hands in the air, just where is that leash attatched on the human-side?
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but there must be a "Why did the Chicken Cross the Road ?" joke in here somewhere.....

It may be just glued - the leash I mean. Also you all assume that it is the human being walking the chicken. What is it's the chicken walking it's human being? ;)

I suspect it's attached to the garment in some manner.Quote: TomspurA more pressing question would be what is the leash on which the rooster finds itself, tied to? :)
But it would not surprise me to learn that it's attached, er, um, somewhere else...

Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁
