Last night there was a huge fight in the high-limit room with an attorney playing and a young lady hanging off his arm and the attorney's wife walks in and start screaming and yelling. The attorney says, "I've already prepared all the paperwork when you get it you need to sign it cuz you don't have a f***ing chance".

And then she yells and screams more and starts throwing things and the attorney says, "I'm not even going to charge you for this consultation because there's nothing legal going on here because it's all illegal".

I've never seen anything like it, actually it was one of the best most comical arguments and I ever witnessed! What caused me a lot of darn paperwork!!! All the bigwigs came down and got everybody calmed down and even got the attorney to keep staying and playing and keep losing money. I think he dumped around $80K.

Just another night on the casino floor.

Good times!

Was the paperwork worth the show? When I used to manage the hotel---that kind of makes you everything for a hotel of that size, including security. I remember having to log various incidents or things that happened that could become incidents later. Sometimes the paperwork is worth it, sometimes not.

Was the paperwork worth this incident?

Also, what incident have you seen that the paperwork was MOST worth it? This one is good, but there's no way it's the funniest thing you've ever seen at work.

This post is probably the funniest thing that happened that I was directly involved with:

https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/off-topic/other-casinos/12177-new-member-only-promo-horseshoe-casino-cleveland-honors-competitor-coupons/2/#post201538

More than eight years ago. You'd think I'd have seen something that tops this one by now, but nope. Of course, I tend to be in casinos (if at all) when it's fairly slow and nobody is drunk yet.

(There was no profanity rule at the time that post was made.)

I once had a craps game going at Caesars with my current wife next to me and my ex wife and her new husband on the other side of the table and I comped their hotel stay.

Classy! I've hooked my ex-wife and her previous boyfriend up with rooms a few times. I should have written him a, "Thank you," card and put it on the nightstand.

You would think that somebody with your job position as a supposed Casino security expert and Certified Gaming Regulations Interpreter for Corporate Applications, would know better than to put this type of information on a public forum. Assuming what you say is true, you have already given out way to much information as to where you work. Now you are revealing how much players are losing in the high-limit rooms and what happened with their personal business, something potentially embarrassing, no less, on a public forum.

An old girlfriend of mine broke up with me to move to California to marry another guy. They decided to come to Vegas before they got married so I hooked them up with a free room. My plan worked, she dumped him and came back and married me.

So what, if we are to believe you, you have given out too much information about yourself, locations you might work, including what I assume is your real name. If someone wanted to they could add up the pieces of the puzzle and figure out exactly where and who you were talking about. I can't imagine if the person you were talking about read that post they would be very happy. Somthing like that is fairly embarrassing and could even potentially cost them their job. The story suggests that this guy is nothing but a cheating degenerate gambler with a significant amount of drama in his life.

As a general rule, people usually expect the casino's security and surveillance to keep their business to themselves and not go posting it on a public forum, with or without their names included.

You would think someone in your position would know better than posting anything about their customers on a public forum, especially, someone who has access to inside information, video, and reports about their customers. I just can't imagine the company you work for would be happy knowing that you are posting up this type of stuff on a public forum especially one related to the industry and quite popular.

He probably changed key pieces of information to preserve anonymity while maintaining the overall crux of the story. For example, the attorney probably isn't an attorney, the dollar amount probably wasn't $80,000, the wife was probably a janitor, and the casino was probably a Walmart.

Of course it's of my concern, especially since I frequent casinos across the country. Knowing this is something you, a person who claims to be a PROFESSIONAL Casino Security EXPERT/Certified Gaming Regulations Interpreter for Corporate Applications person is doing, I can only imagine what a lessor qualified person might do. I would think something like what you have done would be just the opposite of what a professional would do.

Please explain how the following is in line with your job standards and expectations. A Professional Casino Security Expert, Certified Company Firearms Instructor, Certified Gaming Regulations Interpreter for Corporate Applications guy who is directly involved in dealing with a situation where they themselves who has done the paperwork and interacted with the guests then goes on a public forum and...

Mentions the date and approximate time of day that included approximately how much someone lost, occupation details, marital status, suggestions of infidelity, a possible assault.

And then goes on to confirm just how low and sleazy the casino management is. Let's take a look:

"All the bigwigs came down and got everybody calmed down and even got the attorney to keep staying and playing and keep losing money. I think he dumped around $80K.

Just another night on the casino floor."

WOW, JUST WOW!!!! If what you are saying is all true, I would think this attorney would have a valid lawsuit on his hands.

The extent of arguments I notice regularly in high limit are with wives disagreeing with the bet choice or dollar amount made of their husbands. I have also seen some players have such disagreements with their family members other than spouses, sometimes also with friends.

In general, a player has to be left alone to play. True, if he's a bad player and constantly making the wrong choices, then he should be dragged from the tables period, but holding someone back from making a bet is not conducive to his success. Sometimes you have to lay it out there and not be afraid.

Your number-one fan is doing something I think you would be apposed to, considering how you value protecting your identity. God forbid something like this happened to you, but if it did, would you want the security personal giving details about it on a gambling forum? I may be asking the wrong person that question given your theory and how you view negative press and whatnot.

Well, if you notice, when I write about "a player" doing something or other, or even what a host, dealer or pit boss said or did, I try not to even identify the gender, let alone any personal identifying characteristics or information. Sometimes when the story is harmless, or really old, I'll reveal a bit more.

Update.

Last night both the hubby and his wife were BOTH gambling at the SAME baccarat table!!

The hubby, the high roller had the same female all over him and the surprise was the wife had some male 'arm candy' on her!

Nothing much happened more than a few cuss words back and forth and snide remarks.
