Does anyone have any input on the two casinos located there? I'm headed there Nov 11 for a golf tournament. Thanks

I have only been there once (August 2010) and only briefly then. I played craps for a little while in the Silver Star and lost $100. (Yes, some of my $1 souvenir chips cost me a bit more than $1.) Other than losing the money, I was quite favorably impressed, considering it is a tribal casino situated basically in the middle of nowhere, though it is nothing like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. When I posted about my visit, teddys commented that he thought the Pearl River casinos were the nicest in Mississippi, so maybe he will comment further in this thread.
The two casinos are across the street from each other, both operated by the Choctaw tribe, and connected by a rather long bridge that spans the street and parking facilities. One thing you should know is that the Golden Moon is normally only operated on the weekends. Assuming your tournament lasts a few days, you should be able to see both places, but probably not on the 11th. I was there on a Wednesday, so I have never been into the Golden Moon.
