Just saw this on the newswire - apparently the Golden Nugget (I forget which Fertitta that is) is interested in buying the AC Hilton (one of the 3 teetering casinos, the other two being Resorts and the final Trump Marina).
Press of AC article
While I have not set foot in the Hilton, supposedly they are expending a lot of effort to try and get new business. I think that their location being isolated is what hurts them right now. I am not sure how rebranding to a Golden Nugget would help the situation or not.

Tillman Fertitta.
The Hilton is, of course, was the original Golden Nugget Atlantic City when it opened 30 years ago.
