Resorts has installed a few new games which I will take a look at another time (they were still installing so unplayable.)
Taj has announced they are re-opening their Poker room in May just around the corner.
Also, I Taj has installed some type of quick photo kiosk where you can take an immediate snapshot of yourself standing in their lobby and upload it directly to your social media. It's a nice little tourist move.
I don't know if it will go over well with paranoid AP's who may feel uncomfortable with the idea of voluntarily posing for photos in front of a casino camera.
(Actually it would be funny if Surveillance was being fed the images but I believe the kiosk is just a plain tourist gimmick and nothing devious on their part.)
Quote: WizardofnothingTons of casinos have that, you must not g eat around much/ Mohegan sun has had it for years, beau rivage in Biloxi and Delaware park
I was just at Delaware Park. I must have missed it.
Haven't been to Mohegan in a few years and never been to Mississippi. I've mentioned before I don't like to travel far for work.

The Golden Nugget in AC has had it for at least two years.
Also the GN has free parking so it won't cost you anything to check it out.

Thx. I haven't been to GN in awhile.
I was mainly pointing out it's new to the Taj. I figured there were other places that had the picture thing.
Quote: WizardofnothingNot even sure why they put it in anymore everyone has a camera phone it always irks me when I see it
At first I thought the same thing but then I figure they are constantly telling people not to take photos in the casino. People are posing and they really irk people that way so this is a way of avoiding that.
Just my guess.
Only to pull the plug 1 week in and claim that there were "unforeseen circumstances" with the offer.
Anyone have any idea what happened with the buffet? Was there a health code violation? Or were too many people using the Buy One Get One offer?
Gotta love Taj and their "Whoops just kidding" advertising tactics!
Quote: BedWetterBetterThey also "re-opened" the buffet this summer and were offering BOGO discounts to Trump One card holders...

The union covering the buffet workers and other hotel employees is on strike. So they had no choice on cancelling the buffet offers.

Do you know if this will carry over to the Concerts at Mark G. Etess arena? I will be attending the Alice in Chains concert on July 23.
From what I know, having worked as Road Crew several years ago, the band has their own employees for sound checks, lighting, moving equipment, clean up, etc. But Taj may find a way to boycott the show or prevent the band from entering the premises.
The Whitesnake concert on July 1 went off without incident and I would hate for AIC to not perform due to the strike still going on.
So the Waitresses and Maids are on strike, possibly short on funds? Were any of them cute? I am not going to reveal any AP plays in AC. Some people get their boxers all in a bunch sometimes ;-)Quote: WizardofnothingI think it's just waitresses and maid - concert should be fine -

Let's just say most of the Waitresses at Taj are "seasoned" and may have seen their better days go by.
That being said, there are 3 or 4 that are still attractive in their current form, IMO. I have a feeling I know which waitresses are picketing and which ones are still dolling themselves up for the next shift.

The waitresses at Taj have probably been there since they opened in 1990
Hmmmmm. I may have already seen my best days as well.Quote: BedWetterBetterLet's just say most of the Waitresses at Taj are "seasoned" and may have seen their better days go by.

Sprinkle a little Season-All on me and put on a blindfold, I might show you a good time and still taste good ;-).
This recipe could apparently be applied to the striking employees in question? I think that might be a stretch ;-)
