Anybody thinking of hitting these casinos should follow member rdw4potus's reports he posted in Doc's "chip of the day" thread. I think this starts at

If you up-thread from there you can check his starting posts for one hell of a trip. If he didn't hit every single OK casino he must have come close.
Repeating that info here for anyone interested,
There are several Indian casinos in that corner; Kansas has placed at least one casino to keep citizens in state, but Missouri [where I will actually be] doesn't have a thing until you get to Kansas City, a good distance. This may be due to local opposition in MO.
In any case there is some competition among tribes, so the rules tend to be good. Apparently the state collects 25 cents a hand from table games in OK [not sure of the exact thing] but due to the unpopularity of having to pay this outright as an 'ante', the 25c is waved rather easily in competitive areas like this. Betting $5 min or just getting a player's card will get it waved most places. If you get into the interior of the state, with no competition around, you may be paying the quarter, or even 50c. But in competitive areas you should be able to avoid the 'ante' with just a little diligence.
These casinos can only offer card games for table games, so there is no Craps or Roulette. At one time I was pretty convinced that tribes that wanted casinos could expect to be restricted to the same kind of gambling that the state offered. Thus, often, they could only offer Bingo back in the day. I am doubting now whether that is always the rule, but it might have something to do with OK's thing about 'cards only'. Don't quote me LOL.
There is one thing I am unsure of.Will the slots and video poker be the undesirable Class II type? If someone knows the answer to that I would be much obliged.
Quote: GWAEI am sure there are others but tringlomane knows a lot about these. At least from his posts it seems as if he does.
OK hopefully he sees this
Quote: odiousgambitThanks to the help [from PMs] and some other investigation I've gotten most of the up-to-date info I needed in case I do some gambling in the NE corner of Oklahoma.

It's funny - the part of OK that I haven't been to is the easiest part to do. I've taken a couple trips through the rural areas, but I haven't been to okc or Tulsa (or the stretch between).
I don't remember seeing VP in ok. I know I played slots the couple times I got freeplay for joining a players club. IIRC, those were bingo based class II machines.
