A: Let the Caesars Entertainment crack management staff run it.
So we drove up to the Thistledown "Racino" in Ohio this morning to see if our group of 4 would have any luck with a travel themed scratch ticket promotion.
And what do we find ? A line about 45 yards long, 2 and 3 people wide, waiting for their chance to get a scratch-off ticket ! There was a single station at the end of the line checking player's cards and ID. A single station ! Really ? Way to plan things.
And it looked like you might have to scratch off the ticket in front of them, rather than just swiping your card and getting a ticket. But I'm not sure, because we didn't stick around long enough to watch or participate. So that is apparently the Caesars management company's idea of how to run something like this, and it isn't even the first week of the promotion.
So we left without bothering with it and drove over to the other Hard Rock themed Racino ( VLT Slot Machines only, no tables of VP ) and spent the day there.
I feel bad that if this is how things are going to be run by Caesars at Thistledown, then some working people who got jobs there are destined to lose them as gamblers start to flock to the nicer Racino that is just 7 miles away.

There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

Customer service is big daddy CEO Gary Loveman's specialty-whachu talking 'bout? Nobody even had problems getting service until 'ol Gary "$5 hair cut" Loveman invented lines and eliminated them just for the small cost of total personal bankruptcy. I hate this I know.
I am a robot.

Sounds like too large a line to have gone unnoticed, still I'd have complained to someone and then left.
I don't know if its new hires at the casino or management just wants to fire half and work the other half to death.

Well it's just unbelievable to me that this is how they are going to "step-up" and compete against a brand new ground up and really nice Racino that just opened up a hop, skip, and jump down the expressway.
Yep, but that assumes there was someone from management on site who cared.
