I'm getting married March 23, 2013. I wanted a honeymoon in Vegas although I've been there 5 times. The wife wanted a beach. So, we comprimised. We are going to St. Lucia. A beach resort, with a casino and all inclusive beer. LoL

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has been there or read anything about the table limits and/or odds offered there. Looking at craps and BJ in particular.

When I was in St. Lucia, this place was under construction, so I've never been there. I've been to casinos in Punta Cana and Aruba, and I've always been able to find $10 3:2 shoe blackjack and $10 craps, if not cheaper, for both. If this place is like those, craps is 3-4-5X odds or worse (it was 2X odds in Aruba).

Casinos in the Caribbean are more places to pass the time in the evenings, unlike casinos in the US, where gambling is the main thing, so the limits don't tend to be as high and the bets tend to be lower overall. You'll still find black-chip blackjack players here and there, but they're far less frequent than the US. Said another way: with one exception, the largest chip denomination I've seen in the Caribbean is $500, and even that was rare.

You may only see purple chips in the main casinos,
but they have all the other colors lying around somewhere!
They're well equipped to take your money.
The wealth in the caribbean is staggering,
But the casinos are not the place to advertise that.
My friends were in St. Lucia, recently.
You can usually find limits around $5 to $10
depending on the hour and traffic.
That casino is not very large by American standards,
I think there is only one, possibly two craps tables.
10 blackjack tables.

The problem is that Caribbean reality resembles the wildest imagination.
