New Member Introductions

I finally joined this forum after several years. (seriously) I've enjoyed reading and learning from everyone on here, even MKL and Jerry back in the day. I learned BJ basic strategy, Pai Gow Tiles and everything in between thanks to the Wizard! Just got back from Vegas last week and decided to jump in here officially. Seems like there should be a spot for newcomers to introduce themselves so I'll start:

I'm from North Dakota and live about 40min from an Indian casino. I get to Vegas about 3 times a year. Married 30 something trying to get my wife to enjoy gambling as much as I do (she only likes it when she wins, of course) Fav. games are Craps, Blackjack, and Pai Gow Poker (for the drinks!)

Any other newbies are more than welcome to introduce themselves in this thread if desired. Hope I can benefit this forum in some way!

Welcome! I'm from MN myself. I play mostly BJ and pai gow poker. I get the feeling I'd like craps too, but not enough to drive to WI or IA to find a table.

Maybe you can help me with something I've been wondering about ND charity blackjack - how many bars represent the same charities? Is there a list somewhere that you know of? I collect chips, and I'm planning a trip through ND and northern MN. I want to maximize my chip collection efforts while minimizing the number of bars/cities that I need to stop in.

Most bars represent a different organization or charity. The chips used are not that great. I don't even like playing with some and wouldn't recomend collecting. Most are plastic with a heat stamp indicating denominations. Some places do have casino quality chips but not many. None that I've seen indicate the bar or group the money goes to, which would make them somewhat collectable.
