This new type of propulsion being experimented in Europe (Austria and UK) offers the possibility of the kind of movement we are used to from flying saucer movies.

It’s a rectangular sled that can takeoff using to four mechanically-linked contra-rotating cylindrical turbines.

In English, this means that the D-Dalus uses the thrust from its four 2200-rpm turbines to push the aircraft up. If the aircraft begins to pitch or roll in any direction, it uses counter thrust to right itself.

Is anyone working on using this principle to develop an air car? Raise the platform or a smaller one inches about
a road and use the same thrust to go forward and backward.
