So I have a $300 check I got from recycling e-waste...it MUST be spent on technology/electronics...what would you buy?
I already have a laptop and a netbook, so those are out of the question.

Personally, an iPod Touch, as I don't need the phone capability of an iPhone. Apple can be expected to issue the next generation in September if you want to wait.

I was considering an iPad, but someone told me it's just a larger version of an iPod Touch...but I would think it'd fill the same spot as my netbook...so not really needed.

Maybe a nice big monitor for the laptop when it's docked? Or one of those 3.1 channel speaker bars for your TV?

I've got access to many 19" widescreen's and currently run dual screen's on most everything.
Also I have an already OK surround sound system for home.

Actually, it's for video discs, but you can put DVD's and cd's in it too.

I thought about a fancy GPS...but that would annoy me because I pride myself on being able to find my way around WITHOUT a GPS.
I'll probably end up just getting a better phone...
