the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Police cars are checkered blue and white also. Or Blue with Blue/White fenders.

He is 20. He knows what a balcony is. He knows he is on the seventh floor. He knows its a long way down.
Did he fall asleep and then wake up and forget which side was which? Lose his balance?

One might think of a few more interesting things to do with his time but he chose this. Its not particularly dangerous really and its not particularly sensible either. Most fads are not particularly sensible. Think of all the 1920s era fraternity kids who swallowed live goldfish. Think of all the unsanitary stuff about a man drinking champagne from a young ladies slipper. All these were fads long ago. People lived thru them. And maybe from time to time people died doing them.

Think of all the young twenty year olds who can now discuss this incident in a bar, get to know each other and not be so lonely that they have nothing better to do than plank on a seventh floor balcony. Maybe he didn't die in vain.

Same colour scheme of white and blue is used in the UK....
