The best sports-team in the whole world is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Is it bad that I am surprised it took that long for a sex reference?

Quote: DeMangoSteelers?? RedWings????? Have they won 27 World Championships yet? Combined? Didn't think so.
Nope, but I'll take 21 straight years in the playoffs (and counting) and 24 appearances with 11 cups to their credit. The Red Wings are the winningest and most consistent team over the last decade (or two) in North American major league sports.

Hell yeah! Go Wings!
The Steelers have always been my AFC team since i was a few years old. Thankfully since the Lions are my NFC, at least one of my teams can be counted on to make the playoffs!
It can make posts vanish into thin air.... :D

I'm a Lions fan, and have been since I started watching the NFL in 1990 (ish). I support the Wings because of the Lions (I figure stick to one city for your North American pro-sports). I didn't watch hockey till I moved across the pond, but I'm catching up.

True. And from AZ, nice.

Sorry, the Pirates are the most consistent sports team. Not for winning, of course.

Yeah, maybe the Lions can get the Steve Lomnardi Trophy, eh? lol.
Heard they got a MNF Game this year. If there is one.

First MNF in 10 years. I actually went to the last one and they got smoked. It's not a home game but hey at least it's some exposure. If Stafford can stay healthy we really don't have that bad of a team.
The best hangover prevention in the world is a huge glass of water before bed.
The best city in Texas is Austin.

This is Stafford's make or break year. The defence has some tools (and Suh) and the offence has a stellar receiver, two good possession TE's and some potential in the backfield. They should either pick up a OT or CB early in the draft. On paper the Bears/Lions should be a decent enough game. You can never really tell.
The best optimist in the world is a fan whose team hasn't played a game this season.

Agree 100%. The time leading up to the draft is generally the best time for the Lions fans. We have every hope in the world! Once the season starts it's been downhill lol

Without that f-ing idiot Millen around, the Lions even do a passable job in the draft these days.

Disgusting how long we kept Millen. The problems the Lions have start with the Ford family. Absolutely awful ownership.
If you feel "flushed" after 15-20 minutes, you're good to go... all nite.
Quote: MalaruThe best Hamburgers in the whole world is at Fuddruckers.
Agreed, I stop at Foxwoods when I am in CT just to go to Fuddruckers, I get the 2/3 pounder. If I am going to be there for a while I get one when I get there and one before leaving.
The first 5 songs were played on the acoustic guitar. During the second song there was some sort of problem. After a couple minutes he looked at the tech-guy and said...it looks like I will have to finish the acoustical set with my strat. The crowd of mostly age 50+ wanted to say fuckin aye but we refrained lol. The next 2 songs were played on the piano including a nice Hendrix cover of the wind cries Mary(different). He finally straps on that stratocaster, brings out the bass player and drummer and proceeds to rip it up for the rest of the 95 minute show. During one song he suddenly stops ...squares up with the audience and starts playing probably the most played riff by guitar buffs in the history of rock(smoke on the water lol). The audience looks at him as if to say ..are you serious ? lol He looked back as if to say no J.k. and continues on shredding. Is he the greatest? Probably not right now as he is aging and his singing leaves much to be desired(but anyone that has followed ERIC JOHNSON would know that). Is he in the top 5? Absolutely, right up there with the likes of Les Paul, beck, SRV, EVH, Chuck Berry, Clapton, both Jimmys, Brian May and probably 15 others I purposely left out of the top 5. lolQuote: mdhThe best guitarist in the world.....ERIC JOHNSON. Going to see him live 3-2 in Springfield Ill. I hope he lives upto my expectations.
