I have a small wager that at least 5,000 show up. The question now is how many will need rescuing when the county's gas station runs out of product.

The original Facebook posting "Storm Area 51—They can't stop all of us" scheduled it for 3 a.m. September 20. The proposed event has gone though some changes over time, apparently.

I still don't understand what is going on. My understanding is this all started with a hoax Facebook page and now there are two competing festivals, one in Rachel and one in Vegas. I hear there will be a major police presence in Rachel from the LVPD.
