Leftover homemade deep dish pizza, although for lunch, I had a 12-ounce Beyond Meat BBQ bacon double cheeseburger, grilled on a Foreman grill. My only complaint about it is, it's not as juicy as I normally like my burgers.

I had a few bites of a Pepperidge Farms chocolate cake. Just not hungry today.

Wow. Just the opposite for me. It was Shopping Day, and since i don't have to be home for MoW, I called a Taxi company.

Too early for any freebies in the store and i have to get perishables home fairly promptly before taxi drivers become too busy for my lousy 1.2 mile trip, so it turned into a mad dash around the store giving into whims and then getting it all home to sort out the results of my impulse shopping.

So Sundays menu was:
pre-dawn breakfast: Nuked Turkey Tenderloin with oregano, cumin, lemon-pepper, tumeric, and onion powder.

Noon: Arrive home with a dozen bags and have:
Box of Blackberries,
Box of dehydrated Mountain Figs, an impulse purchase courtesy of Paco's recent thread on fig newtons.

After a puzzle solving session of getting fish fillets (fresh and frozen), lamb shanks, some beef, etc. into the relatively tiny freezer compartment, I had a Turkey drumstick left over from last night's culinary efforts.

Then I went on the internet to remind myself how to cook fish fillets, lamb shanks, etc. and Monday will be devoted to using up the items most likely to spoil promptly, like that fresh salmon filet and the asparagus, the rest of the berries and the second box of figs.

The refrigerated rectangular ones with the frosting? I didn't know they still made them.
I'm in Mexico for a one day Mexican MMA tournament that looks pretty interesting. 16 fighters so some one will win three fights in a single day. Winner gets $1000, rest get nada.
Had a couple of chimichangas and churros for breakfast. No tequila before 10am for me.

They do, they were on sale last week for $2.99 so I had to buy one. I probably have one per year.

They sell them for $1.49 each BOGO here about 10 weeks a year. We don't bother otherwise.

So, as I haven't had one in at least thirty years, I can eat thirty in a month and truthfully say I average one a year. I rarely venture into the ice cream aisle so as to avoid temptation.

I used to eat a carton of ice cream every week. For some unknown reason this past year I have cut way back.
