A concealed weapon, notably a gun could prevent you from being STABBED with a knife, probably won't help as well if someone pulls a GUN on you however since you would both have a gun. It could help if you the victim has a 9mm handgun and the attacker has a .38 special.

Hi Player and welcome.
This thread was created, mostly, to stop the member Nathan, poluting the rest of the forum with her random musings. Those random musings and anecdotes were perceived as generally within the rules, but ( to be kind ) pretty random and pointless. Here, Nathan, AKA Karen, regails us with all sorts of stuff, such as myriads of lottery picks, one of which might one day win, or maybe parables about ( figurative ) train crashes that she was involved in while stealing figurative cookies and getting some good guys shot, figuratively, for doing some random stuff ( Don't try to understand it, it's all loblocks )
Fact is, some members find this thread addictive, and others loathe it. The great thing is... You can 'ignore thread' and never have to waste another moment here.... And for the sake of your sanity, I recommend you do.
Oh, and if Nathan gives you any gambling or other advice, it is not endorsed by the management.... I.e. It's probably more loblocks.
Sadly, replying to this thread raises it's profile on the forum, and for that, I'm deeply sorry

This is simply a desperate attempt to incite another vigorous debate. Close quarter knife vs. gun and 9mm vs .38 Special are two highly debated topics. More and more you expose yourself to be other than who you claim.

I do need a brake fluid wrench now because my brake igniter went bad today.
The nine generally has more bullets than the thirtyeight, which is good if you are the shooter. Not so great for bystanders. On the negative side, semi automatic pistols can jam, while revolvers rarely misfire.
A sawed off shotgun trumps either.
Best bet is not putting yourself in a stupid situation in the first place.

School funding would be improved with more competition. Businesses that want to offer gaming are trying to offer more of it. Other businesses that are not being allowed into Florida also want to offer more of it. All of those would draw more gaming money, which would mean more education dollars.
You're not to blame for not understanding what they're doing with this amendment. They wrote it that way to fool you. They advertise it like they're giving you something, but you ALREADY HAVE IT. Instead, they're trying to take away the powers of people you elect to represent you, and making it harder for gaming businesses to come here or expand.
It's a very corrupt way to approach the issue. It should be a free market. If there's competition, the games will get better, and the bad places will close for lack of business. Eventually, only the best places will remain, and as many of them as there is a demand for. That's how capitalism works.

I would vote for more competition then. :) Who in their right mind would vote for less competition?(Except Casino staff and management but I'll get into how that could get bad for staff and management soon)Most everyday people do not like monopolies/limited choices. Besides, limited competition actually hurts the Casino in the long run. Let's say that all of the Miami Casinos shut down except for Hialeah. People eventually would start to get annoyed by how crowded it is due to being literally the only Casino in town and start to do more online Casino Gambling in the comfort of their homes.

There is a hierarchy. Shooters aren't loaders. Loaders are usually peewees who haven't been fingerprinted yet.
Revolvers hold less bullets, and most people leave one chamber empty. Semis can reload quicker, and it's easy to carry two extra clips. It's not so easy lugging around a box of loose .38 ammo.

I have had decent success picking Lottery Numbers. I have won my numbers multiple times this year. :) But not phenomenally. I have also lost many of my picks. :/

I am not Kentry. And WON continues to harass me because I made the stupid one time mistake of allowing him to think I was a man when he tried to meet him at Gulfstream Park Casino and honestly thought him meeting a woman would be a cute surprise. I really shouldn't have to keep paying for a one time mistake. When you go to jail for a one time crime, after your sentence is over, you don't keep going back to jail for the same crime over and over.
