No, I actually made a wise comment. Picking "Cold" numbers are just a bad idea in general. The cold number showed up only like 2 times in all my Roulette playing.

If the casino thought tracking the numbers would do you any good, they wouldn't put the tote board up there. Also true for baccarat. In both games, it's actually a trap designed to get you thinking you're seeing a pattern that can be predicted, and stay longer playing.
Each spin is an unrelated, independent event (on a fair/balanced wheel)
If it amuses you to bet streaks or hot or cold numbers, fine. But stop trying to kid the rest of us that it has any basis in math or winning.

I'll admit there have been a few times when I completely busted playing only numbers that already hit, and adding 00 and 0 for fun. It's OFTEN wise to play numbers that already came up, but SOMETIMES none of them will. ;)

:) But seriously, this guy did a Roulette project on Youtube where he used a device that made the ball stop ONLY on red numbers IIRC. He did this like 30 times. He said something like,"If I could pull this Project off, what is to stop Casinos from pulling this same stunt?" A commenter said something like,"Casinos would lose money because Players would see that only red numbers are coming up and put a bunch of money on every red number, plus red itself and rake in big bucks."

To supplement my own post, the Casinos would still make a lot of money, right, because there would be many Players putting a lot of money on BLACK numbers and BLACK itself instead, thinking there are 19 winning Red Numbers, surely a Black number should be due. So, they put $25 on each Black number and $50 on Black itself, or $500 a spin.

I disagree. It is better to play a number that has been coming up a lot because maybe the wheel is biased. I would definitely do that over playing a number that has not been coming up.

I wonder if adding an extra 0 to both numbers would have lessened the impact, saying $40,000-$80,000 coin in instead of $4,000-$8,000. In hindsight, the Posters who claimed they played $4,000-$8,000 may have been talking about Progressives that looked like they were "Only $20," away. In hindsight, there have been posts where posters have said something like "$5 coin in moves the meter one penny,"so by my calculations, that's like $200,000-$400,000 coin in to get that $15,000 Jackpot." If I had written $200,000-$400,000, there'd be no way I would have gotten criticism and a two week suspension.
Which I suppose is pretty close to the 10% mark or 90% return thats expected.

I impulsively asked a young woman in her late 20's that I was ringing up a long time ago if the older Gentleman (He looked,about 75) with her was her Grandfather. She coldly replied,"That's none of your business," in a tone that clearly said,"I'm so reporting your butt to your Manager for asking me a personal question." I immidiately apologized and admitted that I shouldn't have asked her that question, in order to prevent ber reporting me.. She nodded, but still looked pissed off. I had a deep feeling that she was going to report me. The next day, my ASSISTANT Manager was giving me a weird look. I figured something bad was going on. I asked her what was going on, and she told me that a Customer reported me for asking her if the older Gentleman with her was her Grandfather. I had a deep feeling I would be reported, remember I tried to prevent that by apologizing and admitting I shouldn't have done it. Didn't work. I told my Manager that I was just trying to make small talk and meant it as an innocent question.
My Manager said something like,"I get that you meant it as innocent, and I know you have a good hearted personality, but not everyone will like personal chit chat when they are trying to buy their groceries. Try to focus on just saying,"Hi, bye,"Thank you, you're welcome and talking about job related professional aspects." It was way better that she reported me to my ASSISTANT Manager and not my STORE Manager as my Store Manager back then was a lot stricter than my Assistant Manager.

No, Nathan, "trying to help" isn't what got you suspended for 2 weeks. YOU got YOU suspended for 2 weeks, both for ignoring multiple warnings about giving bad gaming advice, and as a Martingale considering your past recent suspensions, which has been applied many times in the past to other people.

14 days for trolling with unsuitable misinformation about the primary purpose of this forum and website, which is to give ACCURATE MATH-BASED ADVICE on machines, table games, and other forms of gambling.
Even a disclaimer about her lack of expertise with her advice would have been suitable warning, and part of a useful discussion. But instead, she posts as if she's an expert, to a new member who doesn't know she just throws spaghetti at the wall on these things. And as a member for several years now, with a couple thousand posts, she is able to present herself to the unwary as a knowledgable member. That severely cuts into the credibility of these sites, its members, and especially the Wizard.
If anyone doesn't know this, all the questions from WizardofOdds, not just WizardofVegas, are directed here, to this forum. WizardofOdds is arguably THE authority worldwide for casino games, and the folks here who have the skills to accurately assess these things are a major (and treasured) asset.
Sorry so long a post, but I think I had to explain my decision in some detail. I will be asking the other mods to review it.
You should know, the other mods did review this at my request, and agreed with it. This is not a personal attack on you, though it's obvious you think it is. It's about maintaining the quality of the site and the information it provides.
You should also know what a Martingale means. It will affect you for any subsequent offenses. If you don't, I suggest you look it up. Right on this site, in fact, because it gets discussed a lot among knowledgeable gamblers.

I really would have told you off so bad like I want to do now and have wanted to do for a long time, but not wanting to get suspended is exactly why I haven't cussed you out. Hell, trying to help someone out got me suspended for two weeks, so...
If you can't call him out without needing to cuss, is that anyone's fault but your own? Sounds like the two of you are equally sick of each other, but one manages to convey his feelings using acceptable language. Why cant you?
Maybe because I'm sick of being polite while he harasses and insults me. Constantly.

Not really. Calling me fat would be an insult, true or not. Calling a poster here brain dead would be an insult, true or not. The veracity of a statement has nothing to do with whether something is insulting or not.
