They shut down a couple of days ago, because of a leaky roof. Originally, they thought they would reopen in a matter of days, but the roof needs extensive repairs and evidently there is a conflict between the original company hired to repair it and the landlord. The shopping center was built in the early 1960s and major renovations must be in line with modern building codes.
It is possible they will not reopen in time for their mid-November anniversary.
Wish them well.

I have eaten there a few times. It's good and the prices are fair but it's nothing spectacular.

I'm sure there are plenty of similar places on Spring Mountain in "China Town".

They have opened a new location on Flamingo east of Paradise. They are also still working with the landlord on the old location.
Fried shrimp shells are available in Vegas once again.😀

I think it is the old Roy's restaurant. I wonder how much their prices went up now that they are in the high rent district?

I always thought that place was overrated. Not significantly better or worse than Archie's or Pin Kow.

I have heard so much about it, but never eaten there. On one trip to Vegas I was determined to at least look at the place. One night I stopped at Eureka Casino and played there a couple hours. Then I left and turned on Sahara to go look at Lotus, it must have been about 2:00 a.m. or later so I expected it to be closed, of course. I was surprised at how, uh, "ordinary" the building looked, but I was even more surprised at all the "action" in that square in the middle of the night. Let's just say, there was some weird things going on.

I did go back in the daytime, and there was another Thai joint in there and I ate there. I forget the name, but I thought it was pretty good. A second time I just stopped there and picked up something to go. But still haven't tried Lotus.
