I bet you believe the casinos have no influence in the drafting of those laws. 🙄

Don't know the facts, but I would speculate that they had a role in making the law.

They're not just following the law, they're using the law to their advantage. I don't think anywhere in the law says they should take your money. From what I can see they all have different lengths of time and how they handle the situation.

Who's even running and profiting from these state regulated online casinos? Why do I get the feeling very little of this money is going to United States companies?

Dont get me wrong I think it is complete crap. They have ways to remedy their situation where it doesnt directly benefit them. Such as reminder emails, reminder mail, certified mail, just sending a check since they have your info, and sending it to the state for unclaimed money. I would also have no problem with them charging a fee in order to do any of these.

I also still feel that some of the responsibility needs to fall on the customer. Sometimes people need to take personal responsibility.

I also think it's their responsibility to have big bold letters on their front page explaining this. Did you see how far down it was and their rules? I'm quite certain you know you have to go searching just to find their terms and conditions.

New Jersey's has some pretty fair gaming regulations. That's why I don't understand how they failed miserably regarding their online terms and conditions. It's as if they left it up to the unregulated online casino industry to come up with the rules and they just approved those.

p.s. There online casinos I've seen thus far really suck compared to most I've seen online. It's as if they're not even trying. It's as if they just tossed up a bunch of garbage games and launched the sites just so they can generate a little cash.

I don't see how this is one of those times though.

You knock a girl up. Take personal responsibility. You get fired for being late a bunch. Don't blame your boss, take responsibility.

In this instance, there's not really any action on your part to take responsibility for. You didn't hire a lawyer to read the TnCs on a casino deposit?

You died? You went to AC and deposited money and didn't go back for a couple years?

What have you done that was irresponsible?

If you are leaving why are you keeping your money in there? You can only gamble while in state but you can withdrawl from out of state. I just did my Borg withdrawl yesterday

While talking about how dumb they are. I did their sports bonus 250 back in cash for first bet of 250. Of course I lost but they dont give the 250 back for 5 days. Most people are only in town for 3-5 days.wouldnt they want you to have the money in the account right away so you can lose it. I was home by the time it hit so I have no other option other than withdrawl.

When you were there didn you see how bad their cash out processes were. Here is Caesars directions.
1 go to phone next to cashier and pick it up. It connects to someone.
2. Request withdrawl, they request a copy of credit card that was used. Had to go in app and upload. Problem is service is terrible downstairs. Went outside to upload it. Back in to call again.
3. Withdrawl approved, wait 10 min then go to cashier
4. Go to cashier, show ID. Paper prints and you sign. They take paper to phone and call someone. They get put on hold for 3 min. They get the ok and pay you.
25 min process

It can take up to 72 hours before they will approve your withdraw, even when you use cash.
Perhaps the online sportsbook side is faster than the casino side when it come to approval.
