I'm very new at this and started playing at a popular online Casino where I was able to fund and get a payout via MoneyGram but after opening and account with Bodog I was told I cannot. I asked whether it had anything to do with where I live and was told they can't give me a reason. This is too bad because that is the only way I want to move money in or out of the account. So why are some able to and others not? I don't understand. I was looking forward to playing on Bodog, but unless they allow me to move money that way I won't be playing there at all.

If you are located in the United States, the "Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006", is now being enforced. It prohibits the transfer of funds from financial institutions to internet gambling sites. Wire transfer is specifically prohibited. See here for details.

I don't know of any acceptable alternatives that allow you to set up accounts directly. Perhaps others have suggestions.
