These things seem to be the rage right now as another casino has joined the $500 ranks. (Think guitar) Like the others...new members only. But this one excludes not only residents of Clark County or Nevada, but Utah, Arizona, and California as well. There are currently about $3000 worth of loss rebates promo that I can think of off the top of my head ranging from $1000 to $100. Certainly pays to keep an out of town mailing address and ID. :)

It is rare to offer full table game rebates like they do with slots/VP. Usually table game rebates are 10% of losses, which is more than enough to turn to a profit making endeavor IF you do it correctly and they actually pay. (think $1000 wins remain $1000 wins, but $1000 losses turn into $900 losses) last year terribles had a 10% table rebate, over any 24 hour period. The first two times I asked for the rebate, it was granted, but the third time was denied. They said I was doing it too often. Although there was no mention of this in the printed rules, they pointed to the small print at the bottom which states "the rebate is at the descretion of the casino management". Basically they pay it if they feel like it. I think they still offer this rebate, but be careful if you go for it.

I just read the fine print for this one and talk about jumping through hoops. What's with the part that says something about having to be invited? They're gonna look me up and down and say "no slot reimbursement for you! next!" There's even a time limit where your loss period must take at least 45 minutes. You also have to come back and use your free play before July 31st...having said that...I'm going to do it.

When are we going to hear about someone actually consistantly making a profit on these rebates? Until then, I still believe they are worthless, -EV plays.

Just like any other play you make a profit in the long run. That's why it's good to get a group of people together like rudeboyoi did. Yeah, he made a profit.

Are you sure? The small print says "New member’s sign-up loss rebate promotion of up to $500: Valid for new sign-ups only and must show state issued identification evidencing residence in Arizona, California, Nevada or Utah to qualify (i.e. valid driver’s license)." I interpret that as only including new sign-ups from the states listed.

I can only think of $2,700 (Palms: 1000, Riv: 1000, HR: 500, Hooters: 100, Cannery: 100).

So what is it? Only residents of AZ, CA, NV and UT can get the rebate or only residents of AZ, CA, NV and UT CANNOT get the rebate?

New sign ups MUST reside in California, Utah, Nevada or Arizona

The American Casino Guide says this promo ends July 31st. The Hard Rock website says this is over May 31st.

Edit: Just spoke to "Ashley" at the player's club. She says this promo HAS been extendend until July 31st.

How bizarre. That's the exact opposite of what I would expect them to offer.

It's a good time to be a California resident with little play history.

Cosmopolitan is $100, rebated immediately (which is awesome). You can do the Cannery rebate at BOTH Canneries (Eastside and the N. LV one). Tropicana is $200. So total rebate money out there is $3,100. Estimated return is probably about two-thirds of that, so 2 guap plus. Nothing to scoff at. Figuring out the rebate schedule will take an annuity calculator (or at least a day planner).
