Hi there!

At my local casino they have a new dice game called Qilin. It is basically a different version of Sic Bo. It is played with three dice and every die has another color and instead of numbers there a stripes, points and Q's. Payouts range from even money to 100-1. To promote it every visitor can make a free bet of 1 euro. What would you do? Take the even money bet and have a relatively large chance of getting 2 euros for free or take the long shot to win a 100 euros? Or would you choose for something in between (eg a 5 or 13-1 payout)? Would the house edge matter to you? (it ranges from 2.78% to 6.48% for the 100-1). I am curious about what you guys think!
My favorite bet: Double Down!

I'll be taking the 100-1, a free $10 or $25 doesn't mean much to me.

Where I used to play they have free play chips and it doesn't sound quite like any of the three described above. They have no cash value. They're for $5 and if you win an even money bet, you get $10 value cheques and they take the free play. You can also play non-even money bets. This seems like the best type of free play.

Where I work, they have match play tickets. They can only be played on even money bets like Blackjack, Passline or Red/Black etc. Which people get frustrated sometimes cause they'll get a blackjack and say "Alright, I put that down at the right time!!" then I give them just $5 extra instead of $7.50 extra. Because of this, I don't really understand letting them play it anywhere, since it'll just get even money. I suppose cause people might get A LOT more upset on larger payout bets.
