If the game is almost extinct you'd better
get all you can while you can get it.

If its on its way out hard and fast would be the approach. If its going to be around awhile a slow milking would be in order.

I agree with rainman. If it is unlikely to be discovered by other advantage players, sheer the sheep as long as you can. If it is just a short matter of time, get as much as you can while the getting is good.

If you can discover the advantage, so can others. You'd rather be the one to play it up and make the fast $$$ than take the chance that someone else does, right? This is especially true if the game itself is in danger of going extinct, or being adjusted to remove your advantage.

Interesting. I have this issue currently myself. As in, a VP payable for a single game that I believe was mistakenly set at a level that was unintended. It's a new place. While I want to milk it in order to not draw too much attention to the situation, my gaming instincts have me working this thing diligently, and with pretty notable success. Tricky question.

I hope you're cashing out frequently while you
play and aren't using a players card.

Burn. Usually it gets figured out because someone else gets greedy. You might as well be the greedy one.

My example is Lumiere Place used to give slot points out for single 0 video roulette. So you play like $8, you get a point. Well they would have 5X point promotions, and other promotions where you play 50 points get a free hotel stay or a $50 dinner. $400 coin in on video roulette has an expected loss of like $10. Plus you could move up levels and get big cash back offers (I moved up only one level) But I took my time and then in a couple of weeks, the machine was gone. Burn.

While I agree with the two options, I disagree on how they should be chosen.

Basically, if you're a genius mathematician that has figured out something that nobody else will, then you should definitely milk it slow. The casino and players will continue to believe the game to be in the house favor, and thus have no reason to get rid of the game (assuming it's not unpopular).

On the other hand, if you're a regular guy who just happened to stumble upon something lucky, you're going to want to burn it out. The odds are definitely in favor of someone else figuring out the same thing, whether you talk about it or not, and thus you'll find the game either changing to compensate, or being removed.

I, being a relative moron, know that the casino will have figured things out by the time I return from the bathroom.

Whatever. If you were getting all that many hand pays
the game would be shut down. Casinos aren't stupid.
