I am sure this has been discussed some where before, but does anyone have an opinion, preferably a mathematical opinion, on which strategy for craps is better:

Craps Table with $1 minimum and 10x odds (currently offered at Jokers Wild Casino in Henderson):

1.) Pass Line bet with max odds and continual come bets with max odds; or
2.) Pass Line bet with max odds and 2 come bets with max odds. (When a point is made you make another come bet or pass line bet so that you always have at least 2 come bets and a pass line bet in play).

Is one better than the other?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I'm not sure why the Table Minimum would make a difference here. Higher bets would risk Gambler's Ruin but is your goal profit or time at table.
For craps strategy validations, the best article is one I've cited long ago and available in a few sources.
A Statistical Characterization and Comparison of Selected Craps Money Management and Bet Selection Systems. Ken Elliot. Kbeiico. Columbia, MD 21046
Also in: Mathematical and Quantitative analysis of gambling by Vancura.

At 5 dollar bets with two times odds, Hoyle’s Press and Oscar would be the two best systems, though Ponzer, in third place, would be preferable overall.
Best thing would be to play at a slower table where there are lots of grinders who will slow things down even more. That maximizes your time at the table more cheaply than switching to a Patrick Right system.

I favor the Two Come Bets since I hate it when a Seven knocks out all my Come Bets that I've established but never had one repeat.

You'll need to define "better". You will have more big wins and big losses with the first, and the first has a slightly higher theoretical (average) loss. But it won't matter much either way at $1. The swings of the $10 odds bets will dominate your results.

There are lots of other strategies you could employ. If you're cautious, build up to six come bets by starting with two and adding another each time you win one. If you're bold, make the pass bet with odds, five $1 + $10 put bets on the other point numbers, and then bet continual come bets going off/on. Which is "better" depends entirely on how you like to play, how much you care about expected loss, and how much you care about your bankroll fluctuations.

The two come bets is better mathematically, because your average action is less. Therefore, lower expected loss over long term.

I don't have any mathematical basis for this, but I don't think it matters unless you plan on leaving the table after you do number 1 after all bets resolve. If you're just going to place more bets after they do resolve then you, in theory, have the same as number 2, at least that's the way I look at it. I suppose too, that it depends on how much action you want. With number 1 the most bets you could have working is six(6). With number 2 the most would be three(3). With all that said, more action means more at stake and more out there against the house like dwheately mentioned.

I've played at Joker's Wild. I play $1 come bets continuously with $10 in odds every time. If there is a hot shooter who has hit a lot of points, I press to $2 (then $3) come bets with corresponding max odds.

Yes, you will lose more in the long run, but like ME said, with $1 the difference is negligible and if you are there to gamble you will have the most fun with that method.

I'm not sure if JW does put bets.
