I'm asking specifically if a feature on a machine can be turned off without the player knowing?
I've played full pay deuces with a double-up feature turned off one day and turned on another. Same machine. No problem there, because you could clearly see when it's on or off.
However a few weeks ago I played 100 play Super Times pay. The machine says, "100 play WITH Supertimes Pay" Which was only an interesting distinction when I never hit a single ST pay. I didn't have my players card in so don't have an exact count.
I've played this game on and off since they've come out and never had such a bad run. It's quite possible that's all it was. I also can't believe it would be legal to turn a feature off, where you wouldn't know it, but thought I'd ask anyway.

One time on 100 play, it took me until hand 83 before ST came up, so it's not because it was turned off..it just wasn't my day.
