'Vegas Strip' on TruTv

I don't like all the fake shows on TruTv, but this show is pretty
good. It follows the Vegas police around on the Strip and you
get to see all the low life's that live there. You can watch a free

Geez, are all the 18 year old hookers as fine as the two they stopped
in episode 100? (episode 1)? $3000 in one night? Damn, if I was an
18 year old gorgeous girl. Who knows....

I was at the Palms last weekend and was approached by the hottest black girl I'd ever seen. She was as tall as I am in her heels (6'2"), slender, athletic, long hair, like a hotter version of Beyonce. Asked if I had a room here, "no, I'm a local", so she said she'd take me out to my car for $200. Her rough and tumble friends were fidgeting nervously nearby, body language saying "Let's go! Palms seems to be hooker central. They're always gliding though the place smiling at me. I guess I look too dorky and poor, but I flirt with them once in a while, till she notices I'm only playing penny DW.

That sounds like the girl on the episode. She was real tall and athletic

Those two were a lot hotter & fresher looking than I'd expect to see on the streets. I wouldn't mind hooking up with something like that next time I visit, but if $1500 is the average price, I'd better win a big jackpot first!

There is a pecking order, like in any communal group. Street walkers are on the bottom, mostly crackheads trying to make it through the day with $20 BJs. They're nobody you'd want to dip your wick into even with 3 condoms. Those girls in Vegas Strip are either hired actresses for the show, or were simply walking to their Benzes after a night's shift through the Bellagio. I've seen many a-mazing babes walking through the casinos quoting me prices of $100-$500. Start high, negotiate lower is their plan, depending on how you're dressed, your shoes, your watch, your haircut, your posse, etc. Mostly Palms, but they're everywhere after 11pm on the weekends. Doubt those girls on the show would get much business asking $1500 when their gorgeous colleagues are undercutting them by $1000. Sit in a high traffic area at the Palms after midnight and it's like watching Victoria Secret Fashion Show, with pricetags on their asses.

Charlie Sheen went to agencies. Those girls have college degrees and can merge themselves seamlessly into any social event the client needs them for. They are costly not because they're just hot, but because they are companions for the evening and are proficient in conversation on world events, pop culture, politics, travel and they understand the definition of discretion and repeat business.

A good looking girl only has about a 5 year window, between 18 and 23, when she
can get away with the late teen look that so many men go for in a hooker. No better
place than Vegas to exploit it, where men with a pocket full of money are likely to act
on impulse.

I thought the cops attitude was pretty cool. No lectures, no 'does your mom know what
you're doing', just pure business.

Some aren't even 18. That's part of the problem with street hookers. I feel sorry for them, for the most part. On streets off-strip you see them out here walking in the middle of the daytime heat in the summer. You see them in the middle of the night. You see them by themselves at night alone in places I wouldn't feel very safe alone.

It might be somewhat better for ones that can make it on the Strip. But then again some bad people are well dressed, educated and the like, and they're still meeting a stranger they know nothing about.

I'm not against prostitution, per say, but I do think the situation where it will continue to exist and yet be illegal makes it an potentially pretty awful for street hookers especially.

I was approached by one at the Bellagio. She was a very pretty young girl dressed like an ordinary mid 20's girl nothing trashy or sexy about her. I was playing VP and she sat right down next to me and started up a conversation I seriously did not know it was a hooker until well into the conversation I thought it was just some broke or drunk kid looking for some money. Then when she asked if I was interested in some fun I told her yes, but not the same as her. She stayed for a while and chatted and then wished me luck and left. She was a very pretty and friendly girl nothing about her said hooker. My buddy asked if she had a large purse and a blackberry I said yes, he said standard tools for a hooker so I learned something. I actually felt sorry for her. Not sorry enough to part with any money and run the risk of bringing anything extra home with me, as they said in The Hangover "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas except for crabs that shit will come home with you.

Early one morning (about 5 am..I'm an early riser in LV...still on EST all week) in the Flamingo, I was playing VP and a fairly attractive "college age" girl sat down next to me and she said "Oh, wow.. ******** University" (I was wearing a shirt of the University I graduated from). So, I thought that maybe she was just another fan...until she said "Where's your girlfriend?".

Have to disagree completely with this assessment. The street walkers on the strip are also the ones working for escort services. My understanding is there are a few ways to find customers, walking the street on their own, using a pimp, advertising online, being with an agency -- and most will use more than one of those methods. When the top of the line girl finishes with her trick that was set up online, it would makes perfect sense to go sit at the bar in the casino and try to hustle the drunk guy betting black chips at the table (or really just grab the attention of anyone who hasn't yet lost all their cash)

A few days ago, just for fun, I did a search on line for "mug shot prostitute." Try it, you won't see any Julia Roberts style pretty women.
