While the statement infers that the MMGG will open its own US facing gaming site, there has not been an official announcement as of yet. Given the current volatility of the climate for online gaming in the US, it still remains to be seen whether or not the MMGG will actually follow through with this assumption.

Don't worry about me. I will still support Bodog for non-US IP addresses. That is all I can say for now.

FWIW, the links from this site don't take me where they used to. They used to land at Bodog's free online casino, they now land at the download launch screen for the real money casino.

I wonder what percentage of the Wizard's traffic comes from ex-U.S. IP's? There does seem to be more than a few foreigners on the board.

It's one and the same. You download "the casino" and then decide when you log on whether you want to play for actual funds or "practice."

Why the download? Online was quick and easy to do on any computer. Downloads are not possible in some situations (example, my computer at work, where I played at lunch).

I've never used the java apps. My guess is they'd use the same mechanics.
Click "Blackjack" (or whatever) and then choose "real money" or "practice"
It isn't that easy?
