Soaring Eagle Casino offers all 3 games and for the occasional gambler looking to win what do you think would be the best game to play?
Video Poker? Blackjack? or agaisnt other players in there poker room? What game would be your best bet in winning money? This is from the perspective that someone is going to choose one and study the games ups and downs ins and out completely. He is going to try and understand the game and how to win at it completely, but i guess im at a fork in the road. What game would give me the best chance of making a profit. and does anyone know the normal amount of money you would need to bring to a texas hold em table at soaring eagle. I have never played in a real setting for money
P.s. I know how to count cards and i know basic statetgy for video poker and i have won a few hundred dollars on both. Video poker i guess being a little more succesful. Guess i'm just trying to see if learning texas hold em next is worth while. Or is it to expensive of a game compared to blackjack and video poker?

This is a difficult question. I think you're asking a bunch of things at once.
But if you're going to really try to dive in and study everything completely to make money, the only answer can be Texas Hold Em.
You're going to be discovered at Soaring Eagle if you're counting in blackjack. And you have nowhere else to go. If you just want to hold your own, you could probably do that without any heat, but you're not going to make any money that way.
You can't make money at VP unless you're going to play for hours and hours each day. So being an "occasional" gambler isn't going to work.
The only one that can work is Texas Hold 'Em. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. But do you or anyone have any idea of the bankroll needed to play texas hold em? and second i dont really think soaring eagle is to concerned with card counters. First i play minimum 5 dollar tables not high stakes and secondly ever time i go there i see people whispering the count to themselves and i have even been at tables where people discuss the count between friends. But it has been sometime i tend to look out for. I dont need to get booted from blackjack its fun everyonce in awhile

I guarantee they are concerned with card counters.
If you're playing $5 BJ, you're not going to make money. That's okay. It all depends on what your true goal is.
If you're looking for a single session bankroll of 1-2 NL Hold 'Em, I think $200-$300 will be enough. If you're looking for a bankroll to try to start making money playing Hold 'Em, it's going to be at the minimum 10x that.
