Boy, are you a tough teacher... beating the poor hound for his failures at chess? Isn't it more impressive that the dog plays chess, rather than the quality of the chess?

AZDuffman and I will play soon I think. But I can't help but notice that evidently it is hard to get together to play a game of chess, generally speaking, possibly dooming round 2? Is that just modern times? Now with the internet we can all easily contact each other 1000s of miles apart, but dole out time to each other in 2 minute increments
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!” She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Group "D" - TheNightlfy defeats Nareed
I've played 2 games and won both. I guess I'll wait to see what happens now. Somehow I get the feeling this could be a long wait...

Any chance whoever is in the finals or even semis can post their matchtimes in advance? I'd love to tune in.

I'd also be interested in watching the next round of matches, if possible.

I wouldn't play chess with somebody I didn't know on the net. The reasons are obvious.

you never know if they might beat your (my) rusty, tired ass at chess? It's not like we wagered our souls on the match or anything;-)
