Yeah, it says 30day self suspension but I'm guessing it's probably a permanent resignation with the way people went and derailed his thread that he put effort into creating.

What is the theory behind the self imposed suspension? Why don't they just not come to this site? Is it some sort of attention getting or narcissistic behavior?
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

He was asked if he cared that his thread was being hijacked and he said he didn't care. I think he did it because he's spending too much time here and that he'll be back.

Too much mod hijack in his thread. I didn't like the way it turned out either. But he was gone before darkoz was suspended, so Mental may have seen the writing on the wall and figured these mods have no slack. But how do you give yourself a 30 day self suspension without going to a mod?
I kinda wanted to know what he needed to cash-out to avoid scrutiny with management at the online casinos. I see so much YouTuber slot play and all they do is sit around waiting for hand pays, how is the online slot world much different? There must be a method to his madness with online play to get the match plays. Casinos are so fickle, how can you trust them?

With wolves, you have Alpha males of packs who of course won't tolerate a rival without a fight. Now, here, most of us think of ourselves as lone wolves ... and we just avoid those packs. But a lone wolf sticking to his own territory can do something that seems to intrude on another territory, likely unintentional. Then there is going to be a fight

Management decides what kind of forum they get. Mental could have fit in here, except he didn't want to post pictures of his breakfast or pets. His insistence on discussing fact-based math doomed him. Hopefully, he sees the error and can fit better when returning.

Yes he did make with a bit of histrionics both by doing that self-suspension and with his “I don't mind the hijacking” which was contradicted by his farewell “I feel the need to unsubscribe” post.

For the people who subscribe to threads, I believe that they get an email for each new post in thread.
That gets annoying in a hurry when a thread gets hijacked by rapidfire petty bickering.
As for the mods, I believe we're all part-time moderators. Other stuff takes priority for many of us. I just couldn't scrounge up the hour to do the review and split earlier.
Quiet quit vs flounce... I make no judgment call.
