Maybe 20% of what that dude posts is true, probably being optimistic at 20%.
I have noticed cameras in the hallways of some southern California Indian casinos.

Id venture that enough happens in Vegas hotel casinos frequently enough that theyd have no desire to create or preserve evidence.

Wait, didnt they have a camera in the hallway outside the Vegas shooters hotel room? Maybe I imagined I saw a video of the hallway. I thought I remembered someone (waitstaff) or someone going out one of the exit doors when the shooting starting. Maybe it was a movie?
Sex in the ice / vending room / alcove? Maybe not actual sex, but a BJ? Im sure its happened plenty of times.
With hookers, a John saying I dont have a hotel room is NOT a deal breaker.
That reminds me. Sometimes I feel like a hooker magnet. And while some will quickly take no for an answer, others wont. I dont want to be rude but what must I do to get them to accept my no?Quote: DJTeddyBearWith hookers, a John saying I dont have a hotel room is NOT a deal breaker.

I once told one Id love to but not tonight. Ive got a serious case of the farts.
Her response? Not a deal breaker.
Im sorry but if THAT isnt a deal breaker, it MAKES it a deal breaker!
yeah, i'm sure it has happened but like i said in my OP, i dont think it's on a regular basis.Quote: GandlerThere is no way that I am clicking that link, but I would be shocked if this did not happen in any hotel (certainly in Vegas.)

Also, should i stop following Vital Vegas since some of you think he's full of BS?

The shooter himself had set up a camera by placing it on a room service tray in the hallway across from his door. That's how he knew when people were approaching his door and started shooting through the door.
Quote: TigerWuI thought there were hallway cameras, too, but apparently it's rare. I just tried googling it and all I could find were claims that only MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Tropicana, and Caesars have cameras in the hallways. That info is from ten years ago, though, so who knows what the latest is.

I haven't looked closely in every Caesars tower and haven't stayed in PH for many years, Tropicana even longer ago and I was underage then, but there are no cameras in the hallways of Vegas hotels we stay in, and we stay in all the Strip majors plus Palms, Red Rock, Circa, GVR, just the way it is.
Not at every bend. Not at all.
Just around and inside the elevators as far as hotel room floors. Probably because it would just take too much manpower to cover all those cameras on those hallways on each floor, and maybe create an unwanted implied duty of care to look out for bad hallway happenings.
This lack of hallway cameras is pretty common in hotels in general, and when crimes are committed the video posted generally comes from inside the elevator or right by the elevators.

When Resorts World Vegas was first built they actually forgot the cameras in the elevators. Oops! Added them later.

Are you under the impression most cameras in casinos are actively being watched by surveillance?
Most arent, you can generally count the surveillance staff on a particular shift on one hand.
