In theory, your profit is the +EV of the slot and it's normally less than +5% and closer to +1% because of competition.
But sometimes you find an insanely high # play.
ie: $99xx on a $10k mhb because that person tapped out

But +EV reality is much different than +EV theo because of variance.
ie: You drop a $10k MHB on the first spin or it goes all the way to $10k (in which case you probably lost 5 figures).

But instead of how much you made in terms of dollars, what is your profit as a % of your coin-in?

Just having a bad night and losing $500 amidst a $100K yearly coin-in can drop the profit by 0.5%.
It's a new year, so if I win $500 back on my next $1,000 coin-in, that'd be a 50% profit.

$500k+ coin in. Healthy profits.

I expect to slow down somewhat this year, as this kind of coin in takes its toll on top of a fulltime job.

Congrats! What was your net win percentage and what was your theoretical win percentage?

As one who AP'd a lot in my younger days and held a full time job it can be exhausting. If you keep your full time job try to find higher dollar opportunities so you don't have to work as much. At one point I was able to find about a 1% advantage available at $50 a spin. I was able to cut back to playing just a few hours each weeknight and then as much as I wanted on the weekend. It improved my quality of life significantly.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

So, as I always have said I aint a AP player but when I am waiting for my bar seat I will take plays that the guys here don't get.

Dollar wise according to my spreadsheet for 2022, which I started in June of 2022 so I have no data before that. I have made exactly $74.19 from slot "plays" overall, only reason it's even that high is because one slot play I took I hit the bonus the second spin and got about 150 bucks out of it, so good variance rather than me actually being successful on plays I'd say, without that big bonus, the win would be closer to 20 bucks overall. For perspective I ended the year up about 106 bucks, that includes the negative EV games that I play.

I don't know in theory how much I should have gotten, but I know that I am down total -9.13 on Ultimate X because everyone loves to play Triple Double Bonus and that's not exactly a safe low volatility play lol, probably this year I'm going to stick to lower volatility plays if I take any at all.

EDIT: Didn't keep track of coin in on said plays (something I'm going to change this year for sure), I wanna say in the ballpark of approx. 1k? Probably even less than that if I am being honest.
